Traditional air filters are not able to provide the level of microclimate purification required in pharmacology, microelectronics, food and medical industries, laboratories, space, optical, radio engineering and aviation production facilities. Cleanroom filters prevent the entry of microclimates into the room:

  • organic particles – plant pollen, cellulose, microorganisms;
  • metal emissions – nickel, mercury, copper, lead;
  • inorganic dust – particles of granite, asbestos, cement, gypsum, talc;
  • toxic impurities – harmful gases, viruses, chemical compounds, aerosol components, which are formed as a result of population activity and natural processes.

The body of the filter element can be made of aluminum, plastic, MDF or galvanized steel. The polyurethane sealant is cast by an automated casting machine. The filter also has a protective mesh to prevent mechanical damage to the filter material.

Types of cleanroom filters

  1. Coarse cleaning. These include devices of classes G1 to G4 according to international regulations. They are used in purification systems as the primary link.   3. High efficiency filtration. Classes from HEPA 10 to HEPA 14. Filters retain particles smaller than 0.3 microns and dust retention rates of 99.9%.
